We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue than The Grand Hotel Carleton Place for our wedding on June 29, 2025. From the moment we booked, everything felt seamless and stress-free — thanks in large part to the incredible staff and our amazing wedding coordinator, Steve. He went above and beyond to ensure every detail was thoughtfully handled, and his calm professionalism made the entire process feel effortless. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning. It offers a unique blend of rustic charm and refined elegance, creating an atmosphere that feels like you’re celebrating on a private estate — but without the estate price tag. The aesthetic of the venue was everything we hoped for: warm, inviting, and timeless. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food. The portions were generous, the flavours were incredible, and more than a few people asked, “Who is this amazing chef?” It truly felt like a fine dining experience, which is rare at weddings. From the ambiance to the hospitality to the flawless coordination, The Grand Hotel Carleton Place gave us the wedding of our dreams. The grand hotel has been the most phenomenal service that my husband and I got to experience. From day 1 , we were greeted with warmth and genuine care which is not to be easily found in the wedding industry. The food was incredible as every single guest of ours didn’t fail to mention to us. They will go above and beyond to ensure that your day is perfect. We are so thankful for Steve who maintained constant communication with us about anything that we needed and always kept us calm. We will be back! Thank you for the most incredible night of our lives! Will remember it forever.

My son & his wife just (250802) had their wedding at the Grand - it was amazing! The building was so impressive with so much character and ambiance. The staff were unbelievably kind, thoughtful, courteous, helpful, and so attentive! The memories these people have are astounding, remembering people's names, preferences, and food challenges with no hesitation. It was truly a wonderful experience, and I would absolutely recommend it for anyone planning a momentous occasion!

We recently celebrated our wedding at The Grand Hotel and couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, Steve and his team were incredible — professional, organized, and truly committed to making sure everything ran smoothly. They really made our day feel effortless and exceeded all of our expectations. Our guests raved about the food (huge compliments to the chef!) and especially loved the Lavender Hibiscus Lemonade mocktail. Every detail was so well taken care of, and we felt completely at ease throughout the entire wedding planning process. We’re already looking forward to visiting again for a meal or a relaxing stay. I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at The Grand Carleton Place in mid-August, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. The venue itself is stunning — elegant, spacious, and filled with beautiful natural light that made capturing the day such a joy. What truly stood out, though, was the staff. Steve, the manager, was incredibly hospitable and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly for the couple, their guests, and even us vendors. The entire team was professional, attentive, and genuinely kind, which made such a difference in creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. From a photographer’s perspective, it’s a dream location with both indoor and outdoor options that photograph beautifully. But more importantly, The Grand Carleton Place delivers an exceptional guest (and vendor!) experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to any couple searching for their wedding venue.

We got married at The Grand in October of 2025 and it is – without a doubt – the best possible choice we could have made for our wedding. The venue is fantastic – great décor and lighting, nicely sized rooms that will make a great backdrop for all your photos. The Grand had an array of seating and setting options for us to choose from and we were easily able to find a scheme that suited our tastes. We held our ceremony in the front ballroom, our cocktails in the Smith & Barrel Lounge and our dinner in the dining room upstairs. With 45 guests, all three rooms were perfect for our party. The food was a highlight for us and our guests. How many times have you left a wedding underwhelmed and underfed? That will not happen at The Grand. Their chef, Jordan, delivered an incredible three course meal that every guest agreed was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. The wait staff were equally great, serving the courses quickly and seamlessly and making sure everyone’s drinks were topped up. Vegans, picky eaters, omnivores? No problem. It’s been weeks since our wedding and we’re still getting raves from our guests about how much they loved the appetizers, cocktails, dinner and desserts. The real benefit of holding our wedding at The Grand, though, was getting to work with Steve and his staff. There is so much that goes into the lead up to a wedding, but Steve and everyone at The Grand made the whole process easy and worry-free. They kept us on schedule, advised us when we were unsure, provided lots of helpful suggestions that made our special day even more memorable. When it came to the actual wedding day, they made sure everything flowed seamlessly so we could focus on enjoying our guests and our party. Our guests agreed, too, frequently telling us how nice everyone at The Grand was, how helpful, and how well all aspects of the evening were handled. I attended a wedding at The Grand and my family and I had such a great time. The venue is beautiful! Lovely decor in both the ceremony room and the reception hall. We also had the chance to enjoy drinks and appetizers at their pub and outdoor patio. It was fantastic! The service too was incredible and the food was amazing. From the appetizers all the way to desserts and late night snack tables, everything was delicious. I would totally recommend this venue if you need to host a special occasion!

The Grand Hotel was the venue for our wedding and it couldn't have been more special. The entire staff is filled with some of the friendliest and most helpful individuals who helped take off so much pressure when it came to all the minutiae of the day. We held our daughters wedding at The Grand Hotel this past New Years Eve (2025) and it was elegant, spectacular and everything we had all dreamed of. Simply magical! From the first meeting and tour we knew the venue and the people running it were special. Every detail was taken care of and we absolutely loved the bridal suite and other rooms and suites being right on site. Everyone is still raving about the food, it was large portions and served piping hot. The venue provided a variety of spaces for people to gather including quiet rooms, the main ballroom and a snug. The bridal suite was spectacular and the wedding and on-site coordinators great to work with. We can't wait to continue to celebrate their anniversary there for many years to come!
